Have you had a watery mass produced lager that doesn't taste of enough to be unpleasant but also doesn't taste notably good? Then you've had this. It's serviceable when served cold but doing a job is all it is.

On tap at The Tap (Yakima), pours a clear amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma has some unpleasant vegetal notes, with a gently toasted malt base. Flavour is vegetal and herbal, with gentle toasted malt that is ruined by the awful vegetal character. Garbage.

OK, can from a variety pack. Look is clear pale with a white head. Smell is oddly cucumber. Taste is mild cucumber and it's not overblown. It's actually well balanced, like all of these fruit and vegetable flavored dos equis are. I've been somewhat pleased with all of them so far. They are much better than I expected. Perhaps the salt adds a touch of gose civility to each of them. This was a pretty good overall beer drinken & tasting experience. Yes, surprised.

Typical clear pale beer pour, with a white head that fades rapidly. Nose is an olfactory of regular beer, can just barely pick out anything pineapple in there. Good co2 initially on the palate. Taste is better than expected; I don't care for pineapple in my beer or cider, but this is well balanced. No artificial pineapple feel, and it never gets in yer face. Yea, I'm liking this stuff and at 4%, I could easily drink a few without getting toasted. Nice bubbly quaffable fruit summer beer for a hot day.

Fair bit of salt, but plenty refreshing.

Mango, chili, salt, malt, and straw aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with moderate but short lasting head. Moderately sweet mango, malt, mildly sour tomato sauce/chili, mildly salty, and lightly bitter straw flavor. Good body. Very nice.

Mixed six pack of dos equis fruit beers, I was not looking forward to this watermelon gig. Most all other watermelon beers are difficult for me to take, they almost always come across as artificial flavors. This one pours clear pale with a nice foamy head that fades in a few minutes to a pondscum. Nose is clean beer with a hint of fruit perfume. First impression is that it's really a gose. Yes, a somewhat salty brew with just a hint of watermelon. Does not seem artificial in flavor. Actually comes across as quite refreshing, a surprisingly good brew. Wow, did I mispredict this one. One of the better watermelon beers I've ever had. Very good level of carbonation from start to finish. Good stuff dos, could drink a few of these without any complaints! Strongly reminds me of Terrapin Watermelon gose.
