On tap at Rip Current - North Park, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with essentially no head. Aroma brings out strong caramel, bourbon barrels, some peated notes, and bready malt. Flavour has a sort of chestnut character, bourbon barrels, a hint of peat, and toasted bready caramel. Boozy, with a finish of bourbon and chestnuts. Odd, but pleasant.

On tap at Rip Current - North Park, pours black with a tiny head. Aroma is complex and unusual, with an interesting blend bourbon, rum and perhaps other spirits, perfume, caramel and dark fruits. Flavour is rich, with plenty of bourbon and spirit barrels, caramel, dark sugars and booze. It's a bit of a jagged blend, but works pretty well. Not their best BA beer but solid.

On tap at Rip Current - North Park, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is quite boozy, with intense roasted malt, intense bourbon barrels, and booze. Flavour is ridiculously intense, with bourbon barrels galore, booze, dark sugars, and molasses. That's a punch to the face. Not as refined as, say, Modern Times or AleSmith BA beers, but very nicely done extreme stout despite its harshness.

On tap at Rip Current - North Park, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is intense, with lots of resinous hops, intense pine, melon, some dankness, balanced sweetness, and restrained booze. Flavour is surprisingly well-balanced, with intense dank hops, plenty of pine, light oily resins, and a big biscuity malt base that imparts only a touch of sweetness. Not that boozy for what it is, and somehow it's balanced expertly. Impressive extreme IPA.

On tap at Rip Current - North Park, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out mega dank cat pissy hops, pine and biscuity malt. Flavour is dank and piney as hell, with intense pot-like hops, cat piss, and piney hops. Dank, piney and crisp. Abrasive but well-made.

Draught @ Rip Current, San Diego. Stingy and sweet with loads of malts, some wood, oak, barrel and loads of syrup, hints of green apples and earthiness. Feels a bit off.

Draught @ Rip Current, San Diego. Sweetish, smooth and slightly tropical hoppy with some hints of malts and grass. Decent
