Description

Eine eigene Brauerei musste her.

Ihre Mission: »Brewing Awesomeness.« Ihr Motto: »Craft Beer is not a Crime!«

Client brewer since 2023, own brewery closed.

33 cl bottle @ home as ”CREW IPA”, BBE 17.01.2013 Aroma is slightly sweet and somewhat light with some exotic fruits, biscuits and resin. Flavour is slightly sweet with hops, exotic fruits, biscuits, gooseberry bush and some caramel. Also the same vegetable?like savor I found in Crew PA, but here it is not that disturbing.

Draught @ Black Door.
Fruity and sweet still, but slightly better now. 3.5.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 12.11.2012
Quite fruity aroma with peaches, citrus and biscuits. Flavour is somewhat hoppy with gooseberry bush, some nettles, grapefruit, apricot and soapy lemon. Somewhat disturbing and odd, vegetable‐like savor in the finish. Quite American for a German beer.

Bottle from Cave a Bulles. Pours hazy orange amber with a creamy/bubbly beige head. Aroma of grapefruit rind. Med body. Flavor is mild roast malt backbone with a decent amount of primarily citrus hop. Grapefruit rind does come through in the finish. Nice beer.

Bottled 330ml. -from La Cave à Bulles, Paris. Cloudy dark golden/pale amber coloured, small white head, fruity hoppy nose. Sweet malty, fruity hoppy and hint of honey with pleasant hop bitterness in the finish and long-lasting bitter aftertaste. Another very good German IPA.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Tom. Slightly hazy golden-orange. Aroma of stale hops, slightly floral and buttery popcorn notes. Flavor has a bit of sweetish malt, a bit grainy. Decent bitter hoppy finish. Light to medium-bodied.

Bottled 330ml (BZ, BB 01/2013)
Hazy orange color, good off-white head. Lemon, piney-resiny hoppyness in the slightly berryish nose. Medium-bodied. Quite sweet fruity, grapefruity and resiny, bready malty flavor. Decent hop and malt profile, but this beer could be more interesting. But anyway nice to have German IPA.

Flavours were grain, grass, fruitiness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was grainy, hoppy and bitter. A quite pils-like beer with nice clean fruitiness.
