About
Originally from Sainte-Croix en Plain, the Alsatian Sainte Crucienne brewery first saw the light of day in 2007 during a boozy evening, thanks to a band of idealistic friends eager to create different and very hoppy beers. At the start of their adventure, they started by brewing 20 liters of beers, then 100, then 600. It was not until 2013 that the brewery officially started in its premises in Colmar, in just three years the volume of production has doubled to reach 3000 hl today.
They share this success with a whole community of independent brewers who are part of the Front Hexagonal de Libièration, with whom they continue to work. The goal is to multiply collaborations and unique brews to create an ever more original beer in taste and participate in the revolution of the world of craft beers.

Bottle. Amber with light haze low off-white head. Dry orange peel nose, a hint funk. Medium light dry body. Peach liquor base on taste, muffin dry cake batter. Grassy aftertaste.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is honey, cereals, nice subtle character. Taste is cereals, honey, not too sweet. Oily mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Good!

Virtually black with a creamy beige head. Aroma full of raspberries and milk chocolate. Taste is mildly bitter up front, full of roasted grains, creamy and tart on the backside. Medium body with mild to moderate carbonation. A good summertime stout.

Bottle. thanks Marc Morshuis! Deep dark brown color. Oily roasty, almost vinous citric aroma. Malty sweetish, soft roasty citric flavor. Grassy hops, partly hidden behind the sweetness. Nice, fairly well balanced.

Bottle courtesy of Jonas, many thanks!. Consumed with München Ratebeer Tasting group at Jonas's, Garching, Wednesday 21st August 2019. Fruity and a little punchy, a little floral on the nose, a little buzzy on the tongue. A nice little bitterness, really good.
