Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ “Vini Birre Ribelli 2015”. Dark brown, little head. Nose is massive licorice, touch chicory & herbs. Taste is massive licorice, cheap herbal coffee, leaves, touch pralines, dash chocolate in the back. Slick body. Basically just lots & lots of licorice. Not a bad beer but I am just not really into licorice.

Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ “Vini Birre Ribelli 2015”. Pale orange, little head. Nose is thin, metallic, orange, hay, very oily. Taste is metallic, oily, dull orange, sugar, candy,… Corn & oil body. Overly oily, metallic & boring.

Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ “Vini Birre Ribelli 2015”. Clear pale amber, no head. Nose is bland cereal malts, faint resin, pine, lots of biscuit malt. Taste is dull, floral, cereal, biscuit, faint pine, touch watery & brown sugar. A bit watery body. Quite bland, agreeable.

Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ “Vini Birre Ribelli 2015”. Citrus hazy, little white head. Nose is malty, lemon, zest, oddly lactic touch. Taste is overly yeasty, dull at best, lots of white sugar, odd lactic touch. Weird, something lactic, overly white sugar, not a big fan. I do love the deScription “Bière blanche nihiliste”.

33cl bottle. Pours hazy dark amber colour with a mid-sized, creamy good lasting light beige head. Aroma of resinous hops, spices, toasted malt, dry hops. Taste is mild fruity, dry, nuts, dry hops, earty, good!

[9/19/15] Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Saint-Gilles in Brussels. Cloudy yellow. Lovely hoppy aroma of tropical fruits and citrus. Flavor has some wheat, a spicy note, and nice bitter fruity hops. Quite light-bodied. Very good stuff.

On tap at Au bon coin, Nernier. Reddish Amber with a big creamy head. Resin, bubblegum, rosewater, and a slight peppery note in the aroma. Simple but effective taste: mildly sweet with fruity bitter overtones. Nice resiny aftertaste without going overboard. Beautifully carbonated. Mon Dieu this is lovely.
