bottle from Bièrerie Illkirch-Graffenstaden. Golden brown colour, with a lasting off-white to beige head. Spicy aroma, christmassy. Full-bodied, good malty flavours with caramel, nuts, dried fruit, gingerbread and christmas spices.

bottle from Bièrerie Illkirch-Graffenstaden. Hazy pale yellow, persistent white head. Surprisingly aromatic hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, malty with a pleasant sweetness, good hoppy hints and a touch of yeasty fruitiness.

Bottle. Dark brown with medium sized light beige head. Sweet malts and caramel with a little touch of coffee and creamy chocolate. Dried plums, Apple and cinnamon. Quite strong yeast. Medium bodied with slightly slick feel. Like a standard dubbel, ok but nothing special. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Leicht trübes orangebraunes Bier mit ordentlicher beiger Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, reifes Obst, Karamell, etwas Alkohol. Geschmack nach reifen Früchten, Karamell, etwas Röstmalzig.

Thanks to quack-duck for that one. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, fine hoppy. Interesting fruity notes of apricot. Wheaty-grasy background. Quite drinkable. Good!
