(330 ml bottle at Indian restaurant Maharadja, around the corner from Malz Mühlen, Köln) Clear golden color, white head. Fresh, but thin, malty scent. Malty and sweet, with some fruitiness, taste. Low bitterness, perhaps none. Sweet aftertaste.

Big creamy white head shrinks quickly. Yellow body. No discernible aroma. Watery faint malty taste with a touch of spice. Boring. (0.33l bottle.)

Biggish coarse white head quickly shrinks. Pale yellow body with a little carbonation. Clean hoppy aroma with notes of apple. Taste is clean and crisp with sharp, well-defined hop notes. Watery aftertaste with notes of cardboard. Notes of chalk and some acidity. It’s decent, the hops are quite nice, but I could do without the cardboard, and a little more taste would be nice. (0.33l bottle.)

570ml bottle. Very pale body, close to water. Tick, small bubbled white head. Aroma is a bit perfumed and very weak. Flavor is rather sweet with a trace of hop (perfume). Almost no aftertaste at all. Great in accompaniment with a really hot curry dish, but nothing more.

570ml bottle. Very pale body, close to water. Tick, small bubbled white head. Aroma is a bit perfumed and very weak. Flavor is also dominated by perfume, not much – but there is not so much else to taste here. As always this is easy drinkable in accompaniment with a really hot curry dish, but so is also water.

Bottle. Golden clear color with a medium head. Very grassy aroma from the hops. Flavour of sweet malt, with a noteable of hops, ends up bitter.

Golden color. Smells softy; the taste is round as well, not aggressive, alcoholic of course. Quite common Strong Lager (or Malt Liquor?), even if not the worst.

Golden in color, white head is gone in a flash. The aroma is strong of malt and yeast. Taste is muted malt, grain, and metallic tones. Unimpressive, to say the least.
