0,354l bottle at my hotel in Barbados, bought at Clifton Market, St. Lawrence. No BB date on the label. black color, very small coffee colored head. smells cocoa, nutty, milk coffee, bitter chocolate, toffee, fudgy. lovely smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes earthy, peppery, spices, some cocoa, bitter chocolate, fudgy, light vanilla, some grapefruit, bit leathery, coffee, toffee. finishes both roasty and hoppy bitter with notes of toffee, grapefruit and some fudgy notes. lovely balance, goes almost in the direction of a Black IPA. very smooth to drink, pretty bitter finish, but none the less smooth beer.

11th Nov 2019; monthly beer tasting in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Cheers Simon for this 354ml bottle, a new bottle size for me I think (not that I collect beer vessel sizes, that would be very sad). Anyway this was a very pleasant Stout all round, dark bodied, beige topping, chocolate and light vanilla esters/flavours, malty and smooth.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Nov 19. Thanks Simon for this! Pours misty dark, good tan topping. Overly high carb but bears a nice roasty presence with some pleasant dark chocolate shades and a dry earthy bitterness. Decent.
