Tap. Hazy golden-orange color with white head. Aroma is bananas, cream, a touch straw, apricot. Taste is banana cream, esters, phenols, apricot. Thick mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Good!

“Schwarzbräu Aged Bock“, Flasche (33 cl) von REWE, Berlin. - Dunkles Rotbraun. - In der Nase tiefe, weinige Schwere, dunkles Malz, Rosinen, Portwein, milde holzige Noten. - Antrunk massiv und komplex dunkelmalzig mit Kakao, Lakritz, Rosinen, Mokka und Vanille, abgerundet mit mild holziger Herbe. Hintergründige Malzsüße. Etwas milder rezent, eher leicht im Mund, gut kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang schwere dunkle Malzbittere mit mild krautiger, weich holziger Hopfenherbe. - Eleganter Doppelbock, der tatsächlich etwas gealtert (oxidiert?) wirkt, dies aber nicht völlig überzeugend.

Quite a strong aroma - hops and grains. Sweet lagery edge. Bright gild. Bubbly. Creamy white head. Initially buils up to a bitter peak before a sweetness takes over. Bur always a bitterness there. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carb. Dry finish. OK. But I find these too sweet and fizzy to want more. At least it packs some crisp bitterness. Kalea Advent Calendar. Funny stubby bottle with a ring pull cap.

Pours gold from the bottle. A frothy white head fades completely. Aroma is old straw, grass, honey. Taste is sweet, a bit bready, very little bitterness. Medium body with light buttery notes. Smooth. No big errors but very little to get excited about.
