Hatalmas, tartós, tömör hab. Borostyán szín. Illatát a bors uralja, de a háttérben feltűnik egy gyenge gyümölcsös, savanykás aroma is. Íze enyhén kesernyés, savanykás, a prímet a bors viszi. Utóíze is a borsról szól, pici gyümölccsel. Nem rossz, de furcsa ízvilágú ital.

Nagy, tartós hab, borostyán szín. Illata lágeres. Íze komlós, kesernyés, pici gyümölcsösséggel párosítva. Utóízében is ezek a jegyek folytatódnak, de nem túl tartósan. Viszont előjön egy enyhe fanyarság is. Kellemes, ízletes, délutáni sörözgetésekhez kiváló nedű.

Dobre treściwe piwo, smaczne typowo czeskie. Piana spora trwala, kolor zloto miedziany. Spore wysycenie. Solidna slodowosc przykryta goryczkowym zateckim chmielem.

0,5l bottle bought a day before at Pivoteka Ceska, Brno. BB 10.06.2016. As "Olivetinsky Opat Coffee Ochucene Specialni Pivo 5.3%". almost black color, small tan head. a very nice coffee smell already comes out of the bottle when opening it. smells of coffee, espresso, coffee beans, light notes of coffee grounds, licorice, some roast, bitter herbs, after a while a very light coffee milky sweetness. very nice smell. medium body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes quite a lot of licorice, also quite a bit of caramel, light milk-coffee notes, light roast, a bit medical, light bitter herbs again, lightly earthy. finishes with a light bitterness with notes of licorice and caramel / milk coffee. interesting beer, loved the smell but the taste does not work for me, not entirely sure why, I think I miss some roast notes, licorice and caramel make this one too heavy. I have a hard time drinking this.

Bottle from Tesco in Brno. Reminds me of absinthe only very very faintly in the finish. Initially all I got was hemp, herbal, nettle. Also moderately lightstruck.

[ As Opat Chilli ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, artificial, butterscotch. Mørk brun med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter modne kirsebær, brunt sukker og vanilje. Lite smak, noe sødme, svært kort lett bitterhet i avslutningen.
