Cask gravity at GBBF 2015 day 2. Mahogany brown reddy coloured pour with a halo of creamy coloured head. Aroma is milky coffee. Coffee bean, amaretto biscuit. Flavour is woody, toast, milky, coffee, palate is semi sweet, moderate cask condition. OK.

GBBF Day 2. Keg. Thanks to Keen Massey for the samples. Added as porter but may be a pale beer with a ton of colouring. Clear dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is light, semi dry and minerally crisp. Rich cold espresso. Touch of chocolate. Some roast. Toward the finish, a fair bit of dark caramel. Light dry finish. Not subtle.

GBBF Day 3. Keg. Clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly crisp. Light pale malts, modest sweetness. Little floralness. Mild herb and more floralness. Light crisp finish. Not too strongly flavoured.

Fom old notes. From tap. Clear golden orange color with white head. Malty aroma, grainy, bready, herbal hoppy, light grassy, light fruity. Sweet and light bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

[ As Opat Benediktin 12° ].Clear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting - diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, grain, cereal, pale malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, bread, grain, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140815]
