Da Nang Lovely Lover IPA 6% Clear copper gold with a thick white head and a fruity mosaic tropical aroma. The medium to full body has a soft round carbonation I like and starts off fruity mosaic but then gets woodsy/herbal. Nice, I pounded this back fast. 3.6-7

Kamogawa Lady IPA 6% A mellow copper gold with a thick creamy off-white head of foam and a subdued hop bouquet. The taste gives me honeyed malts and fruity hops but also a semi-rough woodsy/earthy thing. OK. 3.4

Tap at Shalara. Deep gold, slightly hazy, thick, low head. Nose is toffee, orange, lemon, a bit buttery. Sweet buttery orange flavor. Not terrible but a session should not have diacetyl and toffee.

Tap at Shalara. Orange-amber, clear. Simcoe I think. Minerally, citrus nose bit a bit of honey and biscuit. Crisp, a bit sweet, minerals and fruit. A solid West Coast IPA but still just a bit too sweet.

Tap at Shalara. Deep amber-orange color, slightly hazy, thick lace. Honey malt in the nose, spicy yeast, orange, banana. Estery, spicy flavor, lots of banana. Too sweet, almost cloying. Not bad but needs to be better attenuated or maybe just to age a bit more.

Tap at Shalara. Malty nose, caramel and citrus. Amber-orange, slightly hazy, thick lace. A bit buttery diacetyl, caramel / toffee, citrus, with a bitter finish. Very old school.
