On tap at the brewery. Cloudy golden with medium white head. Touch of citrus notes, spruce, pleasant tartness, quite balanced and easy drinkable.

On tap at the brewery. Clear golden with medium white head. Malty, bit grainy, some grassy notes, tad sweet with bitterish finish. Nice classic pilsner.

Medium brown colour. Not much head. Some dark malt sweetness, a bit of tartness, maybe a touch of brett. Definitely not changing my mind about the futility of dark saison…these elements simply do not go together. It’s decently made and all, but yeah.

Foamed up a bit on opening. Bright copper colour and lots of head. Definitely got some brett on it, a bit if caramel, too. Fizzy, which takes away from the overall presentation. Again some toffee notes and brett. It’s a bit incongruous, actually. Still good, still Upright, but not my ideal flavour profile.

Draught from proletariat. Golden pour. White head. Bit of a yeasty funk. Weird grainy note that hurt this one.

Draft pour pint at Route 2, Monroe. Clean golden pour, plenty of rocky foam head. Really unique IPA, very dry on taste, big floral bitterness, slight funk note. Drenched malt nose, gentle floral hop aroma. Quite sharp with the bitterness on the late palate. Pretty strange, but really not bad overall.

500ml @ Ryan's (thx for the beer!)
Aroma: nice farmhouse notes, Brett, a bit of caramel.
Taste: along the same lines, very flowery, Brett, some roasted malt. Very crispy and carbonated.
Overall: very Brett forward, maybe a bit too much even, but it still a good one.

Poured from 500mL bottle (Beer Mongers 15th Anniversary edition). Clear-ish amber gold with off white head. Lots of brett upfront, fairly dry, some feint floral citrusy notes in the background. Quite nice.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 11/07/24). Chestnut brown with small beige head. Saison yeast, touch of cacao nibs, a little bit timid, could go further, but okay.
