Bottle at Bruce’s pad, big thanks once again to the host with the most for more OR sour/wild action, 08/04/14. Hazed amber/dark marmalade orange with a moderate light beige covering. Nose is bitter fruit, orange, mandarin, spice, apricot, straw. Taste comprises dank straw, musty wood, bitter citrics. tangy orange, funk. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light puckerings in the shutdown. Solid sour, easy drinking affair.

Tasting at Bruce’s Pad. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream coloured head. Light dry and airy palate. Tart sourness, dried fruits, slightly vinegary. Light floral lemon. Crisp dry finish with a somewhat acidic linger. A bit sharp.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Bruce. Pours mostly clear, golden-brown with a creamy, white head. The nose has decent wood, tangy berries, sweat. Light to medium sweet flavor with drying wood, leaves, aged fruits, leaves. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Slight acetic bite on the finish, more leather, wood. Not bad.

Bottle thanks to Bruce. It pours hazy brown with a small yellow-beige head. The nose is earthy, must, earth, manure, dirt, some acidity, yoghurt, green apple, dull sulphur and lemon. The taste is tart, lemon peel, sherbet, candied fruit, some acidity, wood, earth, white grapes and big mouth-pucker with a dry, tart finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Rather tasty.

Pours a deep golden color with a thick white head that diminishes slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tart fruit, yeast and bready malt. Light-bodied with a vinous character and flavors of herbal yeast, doughy malt and citrus. The finish is mildly tart with a white grape and yeast aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle. 2013. Mahogony beer with a big tan head. Big bourbon aroma with vanilla, light chocolate, light spice, and light fruitiness. Bourbon and vanilla flavor with caramel, spice, and yeast. Medium-plus bodied. Caramel and bourbon linger with spice, light vanilla, and oak.

On tap at Saraveza, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, farmhouse notes, and fruity esters. Flavour is the same, with a very dry palate. Well-balanced, but nothing overly special. Good one.

Bottle. Dark brown beer with a tan head. Caramel and light yeast aroma with light fruitiness. Floral and fruity flavor with yest and light caramel. Medium bodied. Floral and caramel lingers with lemony fruitiness and light dark fruits.

Bottle. Pours orange gold with white head. Nose and taste of wild yeast, lemon, musk, toasty wood, light stone fruits, grassy grains and touch of peach. Lighter medium body. Easy drinking. Mildly acidic.

Draft. 2013 Vintage. Dark brown-black beer. Light chocolate and light dark fruit aroma. Boysenberry and light chocolate flavor with light malt. Medium bodied. Boysenberry and light cocoa lingers with light malt. Something about this beer clashes in the flavors.
