Rich light amber and copper coloured body with a large off-white head. Aroma of light hops, yeast, funk, spices and a strong floral element. Medium-bodied; Pungent malt and grassy kick up front with some lighter spice notes, a heavy flavour of yeast and grass and a bit of perfumey and grapefruity hops show up on the finish. Aftertaste shows pretty nicely with a good layering of malt, hops, flowers, yeast and finishing with spices. Overall,a good darker and deeper saison than their other offerings, but perhaps not as good as some other local options - a very nice problem to have indeed. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Made in Oregon (PDX Airport, Terminal D) on 28-September-2013 for US$11.95 sampled in my hotel room in New York, New York on 01-November-2013.

GABF 2013. Pours a yellow appearance with a white head. Herbal/straw/hay, slightly floral, funky, light tropical fruity aroma. Fairly dry, funky, lemon, light woody flavor. I wasn’t overly impressed with this one, but as with the other beers by these guys, I would love to try it again. (3.4)

2015 bottle. Heavy gusher. High carbonation. Tropical fruit and lactic acid. Refreshing and cheesy. Better than before. (3.6)

GABF 2013. Pours a pretty bright hazy orange appearance with an off white head. Moderately funky, tangy citrusy, light white wine, vanilla aroma. Flavor is similarly funky, lightly tart, lemon, and pineapple that finishes pretty dry. Pretty cool beer.

GABF 2013. Pours an amber orange appearance with a thin cream colored head. Tangy fruity, bretty, barnyard, tangerine/pineapple aroma. Really easy drinking and refreshing flavor with notes of peaches, flowers, earth, and a touch of vinegar. Carbonation seemed fine in the mouth.
