GABF 2013. Pours a hazy golden yellow appearance with a white head. Slightly funky, pils malty, straw, lightly fruity aroma with a hint of diacetyl. Floral, lemon citrusy, slightly quenching flavor but I just couldn’t get past the light diacetyl that I was getting. Would like to try again in better shape. (3.2)

GABF 2014. No diacetyl this time around but I also found it pretty herbal and bland. A little bit of twanginess. (3.2)

Commons, stick to Belgian type beers. No aroma, almost no flavour, oily mouthfeel with no finish. Pale yellow with white head. I would never try this again, although some people like this.

750 m bottle. Pours a mostly clear copper color with a large white head. A sweet nose of pilsner malt and floral hops. Some soft rose and floral perfumy hops, light sweet malt. Pretty good. Some light earthy caramel.

I love the mild spiciness and dry bitterness in this Farmhouse but that yeasty goodness won me over.

Bought online from Bring On The Beer. There is no sign of any bottling date. Bottle conditioned.

A- it pours a slightly hazy straw yellow with a nice 1 finger head of foam. I see some great lacing.

S- aromas of spice, flowery hops, yeast, earthy malt hit my nose buds.

T- first sip in and mmm. Spicy with some coriander and light clove, fruity by way of lemon and banana, hoppy bitterness thanks to those great Hallertauer hops, earthy somewhat grainy malt, and yeasty! Very dry finish. Delicious rendition of a Saison/Farmhouse Ale.

M- the front end seems light bodied but by the time I get to the swallow, it feels fuller than that. Nice level of carbonation.

O- colour me impressed with Urban Farmhouse. A 5.3% abv powerhouse of flavours that is truly refreshing.

Cloudy orange pour with thin white head. Light skuurik aroma with a light flavour, rye toast. Thin bodied. Would make a serviceable beer on a hot day.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy opaque dark orange with a large foamy white head. Aroma brings out mostly brett upfront, a little hay, and some hops. Flavour brings out lots of beautiful brett, some floral hops, and moderate funk. Highly drinkable, with a very pungent freshness as well as brett spike. Leaves moderately funky and fresh floral notes. Great funky pale.
