22 ounce bottle into snifter, 2014 vintage. Pours dense pitch black color with a 2 finger dense tan head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big dark roasted coffee, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toast, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, oak, light coconut, and oak/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/roasted malt, coffee, and bourbon barrel notes; with good strength. Taste of big dark roasted coffee, milk chocolate, caramel, brown sugar, toast, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, oak, light coconut, and oak/toasted earthiness. Light roast/oaky bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of coffee, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toast, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, oak, light coconut, and oak/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, balance, and robustness dark/roasted malt, coffee, and bourbon barrel flavors; with a nice roasted bitterness/sweetness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a very smooth, creamy, and slightly slick/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is an awesome barrel aged imperial coffee stout. All around great complexity, balance, and robustness of dark/roasted malt, coffee, and bourbon barrel flavors; and very smooth to sip on for the big ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.

Can. Hazy golden body with a big frothy, white head, slowly diminishing — probably because this was a gusher. Aroma of butterscotch and more butterscotch with just a hint of sulfur, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, buttery/sticky texture, lively carbonation. Dirty, diacetyl-laden, infected, overly bitter. Looks good, though.

16 ounce can into pint glass; no canning date, but is a recent release. Pours lightly hazy golden straw color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, citrus zest, pear, light banana, coriander, clove, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of pale malt, spices, and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, citrus zest, pear, light banana, coriander, clove, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/spice bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, citrus zest, pear, light banana, coriander, clove, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and robustness of pale malt, spices, and yeast ester flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a very nice spiced pale wheat ale. All around good balance and robustness of pale malt, spices, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Pours fairly crystal clear golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big pineapple, peach, mango, passion fruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, floral, grass, and floral/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale/bready malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of big pineapple, peach, mango, passion fruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, floral, grass, and floral/toasted earthiness. Fair amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, peach, mango, passion fruit, tangerine, lemon/orange zest, light pine, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, and floral/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale/bready malt sweetness; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a smooth, fairly creamy, and lightly slick/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice DIPA. All around great robustness, complexity, and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale/bready malt sweetness; and very smooth to sip on for the ABV. Definitely on the maltier side of the style, but still very bright and juicy on hop flavors. A very enjoyable offering.

Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/roasted malt and bourbon barrel notes; with great strength. Taste of big milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toffee, toast, vanilla, coconut, bourbon, oak, brown sugar, light nuttiness, light raisin, and oak/toasted earthiness. Slight roast/oaky bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toffee, toast, vanilla, coconut, bourbon, oak, brown sugar, light nuttiness, light raisin, and oak/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and complexity of dark/roasted malt and bourbon barrel flavors; with a good malt/barrel balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a very smooth, fairly creamy, and slightly slick mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice barrel aged imperial stout. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roasted malt and bourbon barrel flavors; and very smooth to sip on for the big ABV. It was not as roasty as I expected for a stout, but had a lot of nice barrel and malt complexity; and was very enjoyable overall.
