Interesting, mostly a saison with a slight tomato acidity. Notes of straw, vanilla, and clove, with a bright tomato undertone mimicking the tartness of sour. Not much smoke; weird to say it, but needs more tomato.

12 oz. can, 'borrowed' from Tim's fridge. Pours a clear, bronze color, with a fairly big, fizzy, off-white head. The nose is light strawberry, vanilla bean, light caramel, and straw. Sweet and lightly savory. Fun and interesting.

Taster at the Lincoln Fill Station. Pours black, with a small, fine, tan head. The aroma is dark chocolate, burnt coffee, light peat, fresh oak, and licorice. Sweet and boozy, with an assertive, sticky bitterness. Quality.

Very sweet for a biere de garde, with a deep honey-molasses middle mixed with clove, vanilla, and cut grass. Finishes yeasty and sweet. Not for me.

Thick and boozy, heavy with plums and toffee, backed up by lemon zest, candied orange peel, pine, and currant. Finishes with some oak and a vinous note. Not bad, but the twelve ounces add up.
