On tap at Level 3 - Buckman Kearns, pours a cloudy, muddled, dark orange with a small beige head. Aroma exudes a huge amount of red wine tannins, followed by dark dried fruits, bready malt, and a little toffee. Flavour is drier than most barley wines, as the red wine barrels have taken over, with bready malts, red berries, and plenty of tannins. The dryness works in its favour, but I’m still not sure about the cohesion between the red wine and core barleywine flavours. Well-done experiment.

On tap at Level 3 - Buckman Kearns, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma expresses plenty of dry oats, some roast, and bitter cocoa. Flavour has plenty of roasted malt, bitter cocoa powder, hearty oats, and some earthiness. More assertive roasted malt character than most oatmeal stouts, which I appreciate. Good stuff.
