Description
Revival Brewing Company is a renewal of brewmaster Sean Larkin’s passion for unique and innovative craft beers, cultivated over twenty years of creating signature brews for the preeminent breweries in Rhode Island. Though he’d been thinking about striking out on his own for a few years, it was an introduction to Owen Johnson, an avid home brewer, in late 2009 that set in motion that which would become Revival. Over that first December breakfast meeting at Nick’s on Broadway, the two discovered how closely their ambitions and passions aligned.

Thanks Shuichi for sharing the can! Poured into a taster showing pale gold with sparse white foam with tinges of pink. The nose shows intense fruit forward notes of guava and passion fruit. The palate shows well carbonated and medium bodied. Intense tartness balanced with moderately intense fruit forward notes of guava and passionfruit. A bit too tart but still fruit forward enough to carry it through.

Can at Seavans tatsting, thanks Shu! Cloudy and creamy orange pour, some white foam on the top. Kettle sour nose, tart and fruity. Tastes tart but fruits are coming out as well, not sweet but just their essence. Guava is dominant but mango is also recognisable. Short dry and acidic finish. Nice tart fruity sour, refreshing.

Big fruity nose dominated by guava, low hop presence fairly tart. Tart, but a bit of burnt plastic with tons of tropical fruit. Good stuff

Pours a nice reddish purple from a can, very little head. Smells immediately of yogurt or cheese upon opening, light blueberry in the glass, lacto. Flavor is a thin blueberry water with tart lacto. Meh.

Not sure if this should be merge with dry Stout rating I didn’t add this brew. But alas this name matches better and ibu as well. Nice looking dark pour and head. Nose is subtle roasted malt and earthy dark chocolate. Tastes similar earth, roast, coffee, dark chocolate. Thinner side and dry. Very smooth but lacks bit of depth of flavor.

Bought a 4 pack from brewery to share with family dipped into by my lonesome. Light gold pour small nose of grass and hops. Tastes very faint some grains, grass, light lemon and floral. Not overly hopped or bitter despite description. Could use a pinch up but drinkable nonetheless.

Tap at brewery. Not the prettiest pour a muddled hazy yellow. Nose is banana and coriander and berry. Tastes of the same little sweet sugary candy as well. Thin watery palate.
