Description
Outer Range Brewing is a community-driven microbrewery in the small mountain town of Frisco, Colorado. Co-founder and Head Brewer Lee Cleghorn’s love of craft beer began when he lived in Belgium as a teenager, where the first beers he ever drank were world-class Belgian ales. That background has served as inspiration for his IPAs, which showcase the ester profile of these traditionally hop-forward beers. A graduate of the American Brewers Guild Brewing Science and Engineering school in Vermont, Lee runs Outer Range with his wife and co-founder Emily, who is the Chief Marketing Officer and leads the brewery’s branding, marketing, and sales efforts. They met while homebrewing beer together ten years ago, and today, brew for and with a passionate community who lives at the intersection of craft beer and the outdoor mountain lifestyle.

very hazy pale yellow colour, half inch of dense ivory-like white head; aroma of tropical fruity, citrusy-orange peel, tangerine and some celery notes; taste has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma with definite hoppy bitterness and horseradish-like spicy aftertaste; correct one

Fruity, citrusy and sweetish with some stuffy notes and hints of pine and grapefruit. A bit stuffy, doesn't feel super fresh.

Pint can pours with an opaque dirty gold copper colored body that supports a nice white head of foam. The aroma offers up peach, a touch of melon, mango and then a thin ring of guava. The taste delivers the same sort of melon to mango to slightly guava notes. It also has a layer of thin yet brighter grassy to woody to sort of herbal notes. This manages to attain a bit of balance between the sweet soft tropical notes and the modestly bitter hoppiness. pretty decent. Any IPA not overly sweet is a modest 'win' in my book.

Cloudy light beige to yellow beer, creamy dense off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice, floral, some tropical fruits, juicy, pretty dank, marijuana, some mango, diesel, cheesy, very intense! MF: soft carbon, medium body, creamy texture. Taste: a little sweet up front, hints of vanilla, lactose, slightly soapy, nice bitterness, a bit grassy, marijuana, floral notes. Aftertaste: some orange peel, fruity, zesty, juicy, again, a hint of vanilla, lemon and lime, good bitterness, soft acidity, good stuff, dry, piny finish, a bit grassy, marijuana.
