Description
Outer Range Brewing is a community-driven microbrewery in the small mountain town of Frisco, Colorado. Co-founder and Head Brewer Lee Cleghorn’s love of craft beer began when he lived in Belgium as a teenager, where the first beers he ever drank were world-class Belgian ales. That background has served as inspiration for his IPAs, which showcase the ester profile of these traditionally hop-forward beers. A graduate of the American Brewers Guild Brewing Science and Engineering school in Vermont, Lee runs Outer Range with his wife and co-founder Emily, who is the Chief Marketing Officer and leads the brewery’s branding, marketing, and sales efforts. They met while homebrewing beer together ten years ago, and today, brew for and with a passionate community who lives at the intersection of craft beer and the outdoor mountain lifestyle.
8/10
Nicely lemony farmy, crisp.
April 16, 2024 - bumping this up to 4.30 from 4.0 cause it's great outta can too. Surprising to see I had outer range back in the civil days!
April 25, 2025 - still agree + doggo photo!

Pours a very hazy, light orange-yellow, with minimal head. Aroma has strong notes of citrus and tropical fruit. Lots of dankness and sour washcloth. Flavor is very strong in the citrus (orange) and tropical fruit. There's a light underlying sweetness and just a touch of pine/spruce hop bitterness in the finish. This is a very well-done beer.

Pours a very hazy, light banana-orange, with minimal head. Aroma is quite dank, with the requisite tropical and citrus notes. Flavor has tropical and citrus fruit elements, along with an unfortunate chalkiness. There's also a bitter pine/spruce hop bite to the finish.

Pours a hazy, pineapple-banana color, with minimal to no head. Aroma has a lot of dankness, some citrus and tropical fruit notes. Flavor is pretty bitter up front, with a smooth, light sweetness. Citrus and tropical fruit in the background. Slight touch of alcohol- or hop-burn flavor in the finish.
