guest tap at Black Swan - Pours clear orange with a rich citrus hop aroma and a hint of pine. The flavor features the expected strong bitterness with crisp, citrus accented hops taking the lead. It’s medium bodied and finishes with pleasant bitterness.

Bottle. Golden body, clear. White frothy head, rapidly diminishing. Grassy, floral, spicy aroma with hint of vegetables. Toasted grain and a touch of canned corn. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, moderate carbonation. The maltiness that dominates initially is a bit grainy and unclean and never surrenders to the hops, though there is an OK amount of bitterness in the finish. What’s missing is the spice and floral notes in the finish.

Bottle. Clear, deep amber body. Short, fizzy, off-white head, rapidly diminishing. Malty aroma with notes of bread and caramel. Hint of raw grain, grapefruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Lingering bitterness into the finish. Medium body, creamy texture, moderate carbonation. Thick, raw grain taste against the resiny bitterness. A bit unclean and far from crisp. It could have used a little more carbonation. But it has a nice balance.

tap at the brewery - 104 IBUs per the brewery. Pours amber-orange and has a hop aroma with notes of grapefruit and grass. The flavor, as expected is full of hops and the citrus comes through well. It’s medium to full bodied. Naturally with that much hops the bitterness lingers and it’s very tasty.
