On tap at the brewpub. It pours a clear golden orange color with an off white head. The aroma has some sweet berries, bread and caramel. Very sugary on the nose. The flavor has some floral hops with a little grapefruit and lots of sweet caramel. Maybe some hints of cooked veggies mingling with some herbal, leafy hop bitterness. Way too sweet for a proper IPA. It reminds me of the old school brewpub IPA’s of 10 years ago.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a clear golden color with an off white head. The aroma has sweet grapefruit with some hints of caramel. It has a nice, classic C hop hoppy nose. The flavor has more of the sweet grapefruit, a little honey and flowers. Light caramel. Some spicy bitterness and toasted malt in the finish. A pretty good first effort. A little sweet on the palate overall.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a pale golden yellow color with a white head. The aroma is strong with apple and pear esters. Hints of orange and baking spice. The flavor has more orchard fruit, pepper and still, a bit too much apple for my tastes. A little oily on the palate and not quite dry enough, but it does have some nice peppery and fruity yeast notes. A little floral bitterness mixed with the pepper in the finish. Again, not quite dry enough, but a decent drink anyway.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a lightly hazed golden yellow color with a white head. The aroma is bready with some bread crust, fresh wheat and hints of orange citrus. The flavor has some light orange, melon and some bread. Pretty clean and pleasant on the palate. Lightly creamy mouthfeel. Hints of flowers. This was probably the most palatable beer they had on this visit. I could’ve had a pint of this.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours black with a light tan head. The aroma is mostly roasted with some coffee and maybe light hints of coconut and vanilla, but it’s not very prominent. The flavor is heavily roasted, but not too bitter with some coffee, campfire, light suntan lotion and vanilla. Hard roast in the finish. Pretty basic.
