Description
DORCHESTER BREWING CO. is a partner brewing facility with a public Tap Room serving partner and in-house brews on tap in Boston, MA. DBco was created by a team of Boston professionals with an unnatural love of craft beer, to meet production demands for the local craft beer industry while supporting the economic development of Dorchester. We realized that there was a gap in the industry — and in Boston proper — for local, small to medium-sized craft beer brands and regional brewers to produce their product in a predictable, high-quality, cost-effective manner if they didn’t have their own large-scale brewery. So, naturally, we built an expensive, massive brewery with a pretty sweet tasting room so that others didn’t have to.

Tap at Otto in Brookline. Nose is citrus, guava. Palate is a little bitter at the start, maybe the acai? Citrussy finish. Nice one

Not sure why, but I’m the first American to rate this. 16 ounce can from Matthew K. Hazy orange gold pour. Frothy white head. Floral hop aroma. Citrusy flavor is accented by passion fruit and peach. Some astringent hop bitterness on backend. Decent.

Can at BRACT #1. Medium body, lots of cereal mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. Med-high bitterness, light zesty sourness, also light vanilla sweetness feeling? A bit weird. Lots of citrusy, pomelo, pink grapefruit hops character, also a bit of weird yogurty character, might be all the cereals. Not bad objectively, but to my taste average. Hard to drink.
