Can to tulip.
Appearance: semi-bright yellow-ed cardboard haziness with a semi-fluffy white frothy to bubbly head which popped and dissipated adequately then a rim of light foam glossed the top of the glass.
Aroma: some mango juice, orange juice, pineapple and a little bit of tangerine sweetness; slight danky undertone, then some vanilla/lactose sweetness gently slides in for a light balance
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a gentle sweet creamy fruited tone to a semi-juicy mango/pineapple/orangey vibrant hop sweetness; finishes fruited creamy toned and has a little bit of citrusy zest to it
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; some smoothness with an ever so slight edge of creaminess to it then a dusting of some hop bitterness assertiveness telling me this is an IPA
Overall: man, I can count on Brix City to do a "milkshake IPA" correctly! Of course I would come back to this! Only thing that had me wondering about this at all was that "semi-skeptical looking head" - hmmmmm, the bubbles, guys, the bubbles, eeeeeh, I wince just a wee bit about that.

Brix City / Twin Elephant Doppelgangers: Nosh
Draft at Cranbury Inn, 2/15/26. Hazy yellowish-orange, white head, coating lacework. Juicy mango, peach, and some melon. Smooth, creamy feel. Tasty.

Draft at Paragon, 2/26/26. Fully hazy yellowish-orange. White head, streaky lace. Mango, melon, papaya, and pineapple. Good flavor profile. Nice beer. Higher score than 2 weeks ago (maybe it's the perfectly clean draft lines? I don't know).

Draught @ the brewery (May 2025). Cloudy very dark yellow with a sizeable foamy off-white head, citrusy taste with faint pineapple flavor, thin body, long finish. Another smooth and tasty NEIPA, they are good in this.

Can, from Broadway Dive Bar, Manhattan NYC (Aug 2025). Poured cloudy lemon yellow with a foamy off-white head, citrus-mango aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter sharp mango-vanilla taste with citrus peel, and lactose, thin body, long finish. The vanilla-lactose combination is too dominant. I did not like the result at all.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: great looking pale orange woody color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: huge citrusy to white grapey to pineapple to oranges & nectarine hop notes, light clean bready malts
Flavor: intertwines all the prior noted aromas to a fine bittersweet juicy quality; finishes with citrusy, white grapey and orangey hop tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, even keeled smoothness along the tongue then an ever so slight touch of creaminess
Overall: Brix City certainly has my eye on them as they are becoming fine purveyors of the New England styled IPA. And this one is another one they can be proud of.

Can @ Broadway Dive Bar, Manhattan NYC (Aug 2025). Pours extremely hazy dark yellow/orange like peach juice, foamy off-white head, sweet citrus aroma, adequate carbonation, sweetish tangerine peel taste that turns medium bitter, smooth body, long medium bitter finish. Quite nice for a milkshake IPA.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: hazy burnt orange color with a two finger white foamy head which took it's time to die off then leave some light lace
Aroma: orange pulpy/juicy tones with clean semi-sweet peach and apricot vibes, some light freshly cut grassy hops slightly underneath with a clean lactose/vanilla smooth quality rounding it out
Flavor: wraps the prior noted aromas together in a fairly sweet quality initially then seems to allow a light bitterness coming out with more sips; light finish of the orange and peachy tones with the vanilla/lactose character
Texture: medium bodied; leaning towards being a sipper; fairly clean smoothness along the tongue with an ample amount of creaminess from the vanilla and lactose
Overall: for someone like me who doesn't normally reach for a "milkshake IPA" I'd say this is one of better ones of it's style, yeah, I could have this one again.
