Heart O' Texas on the tap board @Four Corners. Dark russet on iced tea, jellied & not quite clear pour. Brown bread, pizza crust char, toasty veggie bitterness. Toasty brown malt, sharp char, soda bread, a little ash, medium high acid, weak aspirin bitterness. Classy.

Jellied iced tea-colored pour at the source. Fruity coffee nose with a bit of sharp char. Taste is bittersharp, thin, dry toast, lemon, dusty baker's chocolate, biscuit char. Kinda good, yet confusing.

Bonus pour after I was about to leave. Pale gold, dull, lathery short glass. Boring toast & odd sourness on the nose. Taste is fain citrus, white bread, a bit sweet, grassy, something slightly off. Very meh.

Clear, frothy, classy good pour at the source. Creamy, sweet n danky, bitter rind funk nose. Taste is a savory, charred veggie on toast with some bright spots of citrus irritation here & there. Lingering pith, slight earthy funk, a twang of acid middle on end. A bit of a crispy boi. Some nutty oxidation at the very end that I'm not sure about. Still good.

Clear, oily-looking, pale amber, apple juice-looking pour. Danky, oily, taco shell, bittergreen nose. Bittersweet, veggie, weed whacking, cigarettes, ash, crust, white pepper, touch of salt, ever slight funk, astringent. Crispy & low cal thin. The lack of flavor contrast kills my curiosity.

Hazy orange gold pour at HQ. Green veg, lemon, tobacco, wheat nose. Juicy pith, itchy texture, fennel savory, weak clove, no heat green chili, slightly sweet, crispy American wheat. Kinda good.

Slow pour at the source. Clear, frosty glass, pale gold, frothy pour. Cracker & white pepper, oily-savory nose. Crispy, earthy, toasty saltines, ever faintly sweet & smooth. White pepper, subtle earth funk, mild medicinal grassy bitterness, dusty smooth finish. Good, if slightly boring.

At the source. Lady bartender was nice enough to give me a half pour from a can. Clear, pale amber, soft lace. Honey, grainy, slightly medicinal & sappy nose. Sticky honey & black pepper upfront, breakfast cereal middle, decent acid, fuzzy carbonic fruit, fizzy soda carb, mellow but stiff bitter earth, strong ale hot, slick & slightly charred toast finish. Kinda good if kept cold.

At the source, post buyback. Barely hazed, just a little disturbed, pale gold with a lot of sticky lace. Unexpected dry hop nose, half sour, citrus dank. Taste is danky, chewy, lingering mild orange rind, a little red onion, dusty yeast finish. Feels more like a wheat hazy. Kinda good to great.

On tap, Downtown Dallas taproom. Hazy, pale gold half pour. Fruity, minerally, infused guava seltzer, passion fruit isn't strong on the nose. Wheaty, floral, mild passion fruit, apple crispness, moderately twangy acid, very slightly overdone toast, dusty finish. Kinda okay.
