A 12 oz can found in the singles display at the closest HEB. Lifting the tab before pouring into my ABGB snifter. The color is a clear bright yellow and the head is a settled cover of fine, white bubbles. The scent is a crisp citrus and straw. And the taste is a decent bit of lemon, some sweetness delivered by the honey I guess, grain and spring water. A small bitterness. A slightly different of your basic blonde ale. Not bad. My can indicates 5.2% abv, just to pass along.

Sometimes I need a DIPA to rescue a tasting session. Let us see how La Chingona holds up. I dig the name and the label. Pull the pop top on the 12 oz can (says best by 6/22/21) and tilt inside a snifter. A semi-hazy, gold-yellow body finished by a quickly dispersing, fully white skim. The nose is an unobtrusive citrus and pine. And the taste is a moderately bitter hit of lemon and grapefruit, a bit of orange sweetness, cedar and hops. Nicely full in the mouth, I attribute that to the 9%. Decently all right, no excitement.

12 oz can from Total Wine, San Antonio, TX. Pours a crystal clear straw yellow color with a fizzy white head and good retention. Very few spots of lacing. Virtually no aroma. Very little pale malt flavor. Crisp mouthfeel and kinda grainy. Very light, watery body. Borderline seltzer beer. Not bad for a light beer, but not enough flavor overall. Not bitter.
