16 oz. can. Black, with a big, rocky, brown head. The nose is cappuccino, toasted oak, nutmeg, maple syrup, and brandy. Sweet and malty, with a mild, roasty bitterness. Heavy body, syrupy, and thick. Beautiful, focused, and remarkably balanced.

Tall boy can from a brewery I have no record with. Time to pass judgement. I open and tilt inside of a snifter, dark mocha brown body with a limited top of taupe foam that goes away quickly. I smell mostly coffee with some chocolate. The taste is tolerable but not really setting the world on fire. Coffee in abundance, a bit of woodiness, chocolate, hard candy, hops and grain. Less dense than I like in an imperial stout. I'm just not getting what the brewer wanted, it appears.
All three flavors hit one, two, three. How about Everton winning their first home Merseyside derby since 2010? Essentially knocking Liverpool out of the title race.
