Draught at Főzdefeszt III, Budapest. Murky amber coloured, small off-white head, odd jam like nose mixed with alcohol. Sweet malty, dried fruits and alcohol with notes of caramel. Slight dusty finish. A bit too sweet but nice one.

Draught at the F-Fest. Poured a murky brown body with an off white/tan head. Malty, fruity nose, some raisins. The taste is slightly tangy, raisins pop up again, some soap, yoghurt, and, what’s most important, no alcohol really. A nice beer, though nothing too special.

Thanks to tonycaviar! Murky amber/light brown body. Malty, raisiny nose, tart around the edges. Sweetish malty taste ending buttery and a bit bitter. Dusty, almost sticky yet soft, with a full mouthfeel. Ok.

Courtesy of tonycaviar at the F-Fest, thanks! Lovely opaque yellow-golden body, white head. Sweet malty, somewhat husky nose. Yoghurty bitterish husky taste. Some nice funkiness I generally associate with lambics, but it shouldn’t be off. Not thrilled, but I’d go for it again, certainly quite different than most!

3. Főzdefeszt. Na igen, ez nagyon jóra sikeredett. Testesebb fajtából, kiegyensúlyozott, édeskésen malátás, viszkózusan támad. Éljen-éljen. Érdemes lesz később is odafigyelni rá.

On draft at sorspecialista, Budapest. Thin white head. Cloudy blond pour. Nice hoppiness with a hint of honey. Nice brew.

On tap at Szimpla Kert, Budapest. Cloudy yellow coloured, small white head, light fruity and honey nose. Very bitter fruity-honey-hoppy taste with dry bitter finish. Drinkable but all in all nothing special here.

My last beer of the Főzdefeszt. Hazy yellow-golden body. Slightly soapy dusty yeasty nose. Creamy berry taste, light bitterness, some tart fruitiness generally. I liked this actually! If more Hungarian unfiltered lagers were like this...

Draught at the F-Fest, courtesy of some friends of mattphilips (thanks!). Poured a dark amber-red body with an off white head. Nice aroma, ginger and some orange maybe blended together. Taste... rosemary, again... some ginger, light and sweet.
