At Craft Beer Base, a can 280 yen to go and 560 in to drink in which is what I did. A very solid porter with some roast coffee notes and an inky black color with a burnt orange head of foam. Very nice value.

12oz can at Kushi DC. Pours a clear, honey gold with some thin, white head. Nose is floral, sweet, honey, light citrus, yuzu. Flavor is the same, sweet, honey, lychee fruit, orange zest, honey, flower pollen. Nice enough, but a bit too much sweetness.

Can bought at Tanakaya Liquor store in Tokyo, Japan. A golden coloured pour with a small white head on top. Hoppy, fruity, medicinal aroma. Tastes fruity, perfume like, slightly Belgian influenced, some bitterness. Quite a unique Japanese beer that I rather enjoyed.

Can bought in a tourist shop in Nasu, Tochigi, Japan. I consumed a few of these with my wifes delightful friends at a resort in the mountains in Nasu. An amber coloured pour with a small white head on top. Hoppy, citrus fruit aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus/tropical fruit, malty and bitter. Nice IPA.

Can. Pils-like golden with a fine head. Light, clear, wheat and citrus nose. Estery wheat flavor, coriander, citrus, sweet and spicy, not distinctly Belgian. Ok, but not too special.

Can, 9C. Orangeish amber with a white head that lasts pretty well. Aroma of apricots, orange blossoms and kumquats.Medium bodied. Sweetish with a touch of caramel under apricot and some tropical fruit. Citrus flavours less prominent than suggested by the aroma. Balancing bitterness builds a little. Pleasant quaffer as promised.

Can. Nice nose—Belgian-esque yeast, citrus hop, grass. Spcy, bready. Deep gold color with lace. Very fruity flavor, yeast and a bit perfumey. Dry, bitter finish. Rather strange, perfume-like sweet fruity aspect. Weird, though interesting. And better than expected.

Pours amber with a small, fading head.Nose shows sweet caramel and soft pine. Somewhat faint.Restrained flavours, with a bit of grapefruit hops and some sweet bready malt followed by an assertive bitterness.Could use more carbonation.Not overly complex but enjoyable nonetheless.

Pours black with a lasting head.Sweet-smelling, some soy sauce shows along with roasted malt. Little else. Very faint.Better flavours, with some spicy hops, roasted malt and liquorice. Again, quite sweet.Carbonation is too high.Not great.

Pours deep amber with a large, lasting head.Nose shows soft piny hops and a bit of grapefruit. Also some soft caramel.Flavours are somewhat similar but include some bready malt and less hops.A bit over-carbed.Fine but nothing too impressive.
