A new domestic tripel, to me at least. I acquired a 12 oz bottle from Half Time last year and am now ready to give it a try. My favored globe glass is arrayed, I pull the cap and pour. A semi-transparent dark gold body completed by an appropriate top of almost white foam. The scent is as it should be, ripe yellow fruit, grain, yeast and a promise of sweetness. I lift the glass and take a drink. Not bad, actually pretty good in the style. More apricot than peach but there is certainly both, white bread, a touch of honey sweetness and malt. Tasty and a fine, full, sensation also. I like my tripels and I like this one.

12oz bottle pours out dark brown topped with a small tan head. Nose is nice sweet chocolate and light roast. Taste is more of the nice sweet milk chocolate notes and roast malts.

12oz bottle from Half Time. Dark golden pour, cloudy, wispy head. Yeasty, buttery aroma. Taste is savory, yeasty, malty, sourdough, buttery. Even at 8.8%, it's got a strong feel to it. Nice weight and feel.

Bottle, from Trader Joe's. Pours faintly cloudy dark yellow with foamy whitish head, grassy hops aroma, high carbonation, slightly sweet malty taste with light grassy hops, thin body, longish malty finish. Not bad but not a proper pilsner either.

Draught @ Albion. Dark brown with smallish tan foamy head, mocha aroma, medium carbonation, lightly bitter mocha taste, thick body, longish bitter chocolate finish. Quite satisfying and tasty.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours dull copper with a white head. Aroma is grass, light pine, some citrus. Taste is like a blast from the past to the mid 2000s... or it seemed that way to me. Nice level of bitterness with lingering aftertaste.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is lightly spicy, a bit mellow fruitiness. Taste is kind of sweet. Light bitterness. Pretty smooth. I do not think I got any mint notes as the description suggests.

The Sampler, Brooklyn: I got this under the name Pilsner rather than Brew. I assume it is the same or is otherwise a new iteration of the same. In any case, it pours golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet malts with a light bit of hoppiness. I feel this is probably a better version of what those certain people below were drinking. Kind of sweet but pleasant and not macro in character.

Draught @ Albion. Hazy amber with very small frothy beige head, caramelized malt aroma, medium carbonation, lightly bitter malty taste, thin body, medium bitter finish. Decent brew.
