16 oz can from Half Time, 1/27/22. Canned 1/5/22. No idea how long this contract brewery has been around (this is only their 2nd beer and 2nd rate on here, so I assume not long), but as someone who pre-March 2020 was very up-to-date on the NYC craft beer scene, I had never heard of them before finding this beer on the Half Time website. Anyway, as for the beer, it pours out fully murky / hazy, yellowish-orange color. Pulls out all the expected juicy hop flavors (mango, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, and grapefruit) with a good bit of wheat / oatness to the feel. That boozy feel thing that comes through on a bunch of high ABV hazy beers is present too. The aroma is a little muted compared to everything else, but there is certainly nothing subtle about this one. It's tasty, and feels like something that would be hard to screw up. Would like to see what these guy can do with a 5% hoppy, but for my first Deep Fried beer I'm definitely seeing the potential.

16 ounce can. Hazy Amber orange pour. Small rocky beige head. Earthy toasted malt aroma. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor upfront. Spicy hops bring notes of lime leaves, pine and lemon verbena. Long bitter finish.

12 oz can from Halftime. Pale golden, foamy head, fine carbonation. Light geassy, grainy aroma. Taste adds a small level of bittering hops to the malts, hint of lemon peel. Crisp, clean.

16 ounce can. Hazy yellow gold color. Small frothy white head. Fragrant citrus hop nose. Lemon and grapefruit abound. Big bitter citrus flavor upfront. Some oniony notes. Tart and fruity with minerally notes. Decent.
