Domaine Johanna Cécillon covers 11 hectares in the municipalities of Sévignac and Trédias north of Brittany.

Johanna’s grandparents produced and marketed cider at “La Grange aux Moines”, where her father Joel PERRIN still continues the tradition.

Where: SBWF 2017.
Appearance: Hazy amber colour with a minimal head.
Aroma: Apples.
Body: Medium body, low to medium carbonation.
Flavour: Apples, dry, bitter finish.

Bottled at SBWF. Almost clear golden, almost still. Rich stable and hay aroma. Mid dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Generous complex apple flavours. Mild hay and honey. Slight tannic finish.

Bottled at SBWF. Hazy orange colour, near still. Minerally stable aroma. Bone dry with clean mouthfeel. Very tannic with lots of hay, some minerals. Huge apple skin bitterness.

Bottle from Ciderwinkel, 25 cl sample. Hazy to almost cloudy golden color, medium head. Green apple, slight spicy, soft funky or leathery note, flowery, slight oak. The medium carbonation blends in perfectly and makes it almost saisonesque. Quite complex and not simply focused on just apple. Great stuff.

Bottle. Pours a pale golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity spicy dry apple aroma. Fruity dry spicy apple flavor. Has a fruity spicy dry apple finish.
