Description

Bottle @ home thanks to my former colleague Michiel. Clear dark amber to dark red color, full sized beige head that leaves fair lacing. Aroma has malts, lightly caramel. Taste malts, caramel, slightly bitter. Decent beer, though not very outspoken, not a lot to tell. Decent, no flaws.

Bottle [thanks to my colleague Michiel for bringing me this] @ home. Slightly unclear yellow-golden color, medium sized white head that diminishes quickly. Smell and taste moderately malts, slightly hay, lightly a hint of herbs, lightly bitter. Pretty straight forward, but no flaws. Average body and carbonation.

Tap @ Drie Ringen. Clear amber color, medium off-white head. Aroma of some caramel, slight grainy, bit grassy hop. Bit bitter, bit sweet. Quite light in color for a bock. Not bad, but just not much flavor.

Tap @ Drie Ringen. Bartender called it a Kolsch style beer. Hazy golden color, medium head. Aroma of some grassy and spicy hop, slight sulphury, hint of cardboard. Bit bitter taste, grainy. Mediocre.

Fresh bitter bock beer with an amber color. It’s decent, but it’s too thin.

Standard Belgian witbier, I found it a bit too watery. Boring, but refreshing.

Standard tripel. The usual notes of hop, malt and grain, with some sweet yeast. Boring.

I like the creamy mouthfeel of this one. Nice smooth grainy Belgian blond beer with some bitterness.

I can’t taste much difference between this one and their blond beer. Perhaps a bit more grainy and malty.

Regular German style beer. Not very special, but quite drinkable. Enough for some situations.
