Dark brown with a beige head. Sweet chocolate, roasts, light bitter finish. A bit salty. Very good brew.

Pours dark brown with massive beige head. Head reduces fast but some foam still remains. Taste has some velvety fruitiness, coffee, bit oily texture. Strong coffee malts, bitter chocolate. Nice balance with salty sea characteristics, bit sour feel in the aftertaste. Nice sturdy stout.

Cask, handpull. Clear deep amber color, thin head with decent retention. Aroma of caramel, light biscuit, subtle citrus. Taste is malty with some lemony bitterness at the finish. Very drinkable, but very subtle.

Black with a creamy tan head. Lactose and roasted sweetness with light coconut aroma. Flavor continues with much stronger coconut and lactose. Gets a bit cloying in the finish. Interesting but needs some work/restrained sweetness.

Draft at the Twisted Hop. Hazy pale yellow color. Aroma of lemon, banana. Taste has citrus and tropical bubblegum, scant spice. Decent.

Draft at Pom’s in CHCH. Crystal clear amber color, white head, solid lacing. Aroma of pine, light sice. Taste is bitter, peppery toasted caramel. Mellow.

Draft at fork and Brewer. Almost black, tan head. Aroma of earthy coffee grounds. Taste is earthy cocoa and burnt espresso. Nice.

light amber, flowery, perfume, plums. Slightly sweet, slightly tart, not the most balanced, but enjoyable. Had potential to be great.

odd flavor, kinda seemed off but I think it was just the hops and Malts they use. Still I wouldn’t come back to this beer
