Very nice, especially for my first try from a new brewery. Lots of roast, and well-balanced with hops. Right in the middle of the hybrid, with great balance. Bitter finish. Some hint of licorice. Black, creamy pour with decent head. Tap.

Draft at the Ocelot Brewery. Poured a completely opaque black, with some brown edges on the sides of the glass. Aroma is roasted malts, some bitter bakers chocolate. Flavor is bitter chocolate, malt, with a sizable amount of tobacco on the finish. Beer coats your mouth and sticks with you. Also available on nitro on this particular trip. Had this one on nitro afterward and it was wonderful. Rich and creamy.

Draft at the Ocelot Brewery. Poured a slightly hazy golden orange color, the fog outside is more hazy right now. There is a small wispy off-white head atop this beer. Aroma was light juicy notes, some wheat. Mild, props for them hiding the alcohol in this one.

Draft at the Ocelot Brewery. Poured a clear orange color with a small wispy white head. Aroma was notes of light tropical fruit notes, sweet malts. Flavor was similar, though it has a light punch of tropical fruits from the hops. While this IPA might not cause your head to explode, it was a decent first beer from these guys.
