Bottle. Black with a tan head. Roasty and somewhat smoky aroma with some chocolate and blackberries. Touch of tarmac. Some sourish apples in the taste. A bit acrid and very dry at the end. I don't mind it but think something's gone awry here.

Bottle - an imperial pint for some reason. Deep gold with a white head that lasts quite well. A few bits - are they bits of ground lemon myrtle? A: Grainy and cracker doughy with lots of citrus - oranges, lemon, maybe slightly soapy - white pepper. Medium bodied, carbonation on the high side of moderate. T: Moderate sweetness with cracker dough and again lots citrus, although now some of the "citrus" is more clearly spice. It’s a bit too prominent for me but certainly doesn’t stomp all over the beer. Pleasingly dry at the end with moderate to firm bitterness and pepper. Finish makes it work for me.

Deep amber with an off white head. Aroma of toffee and grass. Light bodied. Sweetish bread crusts, some spices, tannin. Moderate bitterness. Not really my sort of thing - found it a bit dull apart from the unusual tea-ish finish.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange. Lots of esthers on nose. Some harsh herbaceousness and strangely doughy yeast flavours. Unfortunately I found this very home-brewy with a lack of balance.

Bottle. Slightly hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is wheaty and doughy with lemon, coriander, white pepper. More ornage than lemon in the sweetish taste, a nice wheaty tanginess, spices are less well defined than in the aroma. Refreshing.

Pours amber with a small head.Nose shows doughy wheat, orange peel and some banana esters.Less wheat notes in terms of flavours with some sweet but plain malt taking over.Carbonation seems a bit overenthusiastic.
