Can. Deep brown with a cm of loosish beige head. Aroma of chocolate, bread, some nuts, spices. The chocolate is not very sweet at all but there are hints of bready richness before quite firm bitterness. Seems like dark lager is their thing.

Light aromas of straw, grass, citrus and melon. In the mouth, there is some moderate bitterness and melon. Nice body.

Can. Just unclear gold with a white head that sticks around as a coat. Grainy aroma with mild spices and hints of tropical fruit. Not as clean as it might be with smudging between light malt and fruity hops. Modest bitterness. Not so good.

A pretty underwhelming pale ale. Most of what I'm getting is the grain bill, with bread and raw grain flavours that linger longest in the mouth. There is also hemp, stone fruit and grapefruit, which come across nicest in the aroma.

As someone who doesn't love RIPAs, this is one I could get behind, with a very restrained rye flavour combining with pine, bread, toast and honey. Just lovely.

Boy, that's a heap of coffee, with a little cherry, citrus, toast and chocolate. If I were to quibble, I'd say you could dial back the coffee every so slightly, but it's a lovely coffee aftertaste. May need a cleanser to get me to sleep.

Lots of grapefruit, raisins, bread and cherry in the aroma. That raisin and grapefruit hop taste lingers in the mouth, with some pine and honey as well. Nicely balanced pale ale with a point of difference.

Bottle. As Shedshaker Espresso Black Lager. Black with a beige head that lasts OK. 3+ Aroma of sweet, good coffee, bread. Medium bodied, lovely silky texture. Lowish carbonation with a nice creaminess. Not as sweet as expected with bitterness really working its way into the palate so that the coffee doesn't dominate. Clean with that passing illusion of richness that often marks a good lager. Good brew.

Bottle. Amber, white head. some floaties. 3- Aroma of cornflakes, some herbs and tropical fruit. Pretty much how it tastes - sweet and not quite clean, modest but pleasant hops are a mix of old and new world. 5+ Dryish finish is moderately bitter. A bit timid. Room for improvement - probably hasn't bottled all that well.
