On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Oro vivo, limpida, schiuma bianca media e persistente. Al naso sentori erbacei, crosta di pane, panino al latte. In bocca ha un attacco maltato con finale amaro lungo e persistente. Corpo medio, carbonazione leggera. Le manca un po' di carbonazione, ma è veramente buona!

Pours rather dark amber, small white head' smell is full, chestnut, intense, sweet, caramel, mild oxidation. Taste is oxidation, chestnut, port, very complex, very full. Nice !

Draft @ Bir&Fud, Roma. Brune foncée, col fin crémeux blanc-cassé. Arôme est agréable niveau des effluves de houblons; agrumes et bon tropical, petite note résineuse sur rétro-nasal complexe de malts offrant un léger rétro chocolaté et grillé. Palais est malté, grillé avec petite note de café et caramel. Amertume progressive bien en alliance avec les malts. Agrumes, pamplemousse + chocolaté.

Draft glass @ Beerlovers Bar. Black, big mocha head. Nose is thin herbal cheap cacao, almost vegetable coffee, mocha, leaves,… Taste is weird bitter vegetable coffee, some ashes, bitter roast, thin,… Thin lingering ashes, grains,… Too thin grainy ashes, weak,… About on par with the regular one, weak stuff.

Pours black, creamy off white head with good stability and rather high lacing. Smell is very roasted, some coffee. Taste is very roasty, coffee, tad bitter, very dry. Crisp rossted, burnt malts. Ok

Tap @So Good (Rome). Coffee bean color, cappuccino foam irregular cap. Nose: uh!!! Sweet roast, mocha, licorice, pretty much the black component dominoes the floor which is unusual for a black ipa. This one stays behind. The aroma is terrific and the grassy notes close the roast in a charming embrace. Mouth: soft carbonation, sweet espresso notes, lactose, sweet but in a good way. Again a bitter and hoppy balanced finish. Lovely.
