Can. Just murky amber with a light beige head that's soon less than a coat. Aroma of breadcrust, some peach, citrus and hints of tropical fruit, pepper. But the malt lacks the promised chewiness and the hops show up as mainly peppery bitterness. Just OK.

Strong chocolate and chicory aromas with lots of spiced raisins as well. Creamy mouthfeel with some toasty notes. Solid.

Aromas of lemon, marmalade and toffee. A nice bit of toast in the mouth as well. A bit too fizzy but otherwise a solid bitter.

Bottle. Black with a cm+ of deep brown head that fades to a coat. Aroma of chocolate, roast, bread, some coffee, vanilla, some dried banana. 7+ Rich and sweet with lots of chocolate. Then it's reeled in by creeping roasted and coffee flavours and a bitter finish. A bit warming at the end too. No tricks, lovely balance and a really natural feel to the conditioning.

Bottle. Clear amber with an off white head that lasts quite well. Sediment thoroughly adhered to bottom of bottle. Bread crusts, toffee, flowers, spices, figs. Medium-light bodied, but somewhat chewy. Slightly overcarbonated. Not all that sweet. Sticky bread crusts, a little dried fruit. Not a rich beer. Floral, spicy and quite bitter at the end.

Bottle. Deep brown with a beige head. Aroma of bread, chocolate, light spices. Medium bodied, lowish carbonation. Bread, mild roast, some dried fruit,. A little lean towards dry and moderate bitterness at the end. Slightly roast astringent there too. Pretty good.

Pours copper with a quickly fading head.Nose shows some caramel, toasty and nutty mlat, soft banana and a light cardboard character. Pretty subtle.Very similar flavours. Bready and toasty malt along with the cardboard character again followed by a lingering sweetness.Nice moderate carbonation.

Bottle. Gold with a 1cm white head. Aroma of peach, bread, mild spices, a bit of a strange overtly wheaty note that doesn’t fit. Lightish bodied, carbonation is excessive. A little sweet with bread and peaches, firm bitter and dry finish with spices and some lemon. Liked it much more as it lost some fizz. Promising.
