Bottle. Nice complex aroma - banana, wheat, yeast, clove. Light tan color with a bit of cloudiness and ample head. Taste is watered down - weak banana malt flavor - not much body. Disappointing as the aroma had me anticipating a much better taste.

Bottle. Hazy blonde with a light banana aroma. Hawful carboard taste typical of bad storage conditions. Slight bananas in mouth, but hyperoxidized. (July 31 at Indiana Microbrewers Festival)

Bottle. Grainy malt aroma. Medium yellow with small head. Watery - light taste of malt and berry. Do yourself a favor and stick with Glühwein.

Bottle. Sweet banana/apple aroma. Medium brown cloudy color. Primarily malt with much more of the banana flavor - full bodied with no bitterness at all. I think this is one of the best dunkelweizen - has the strong dark malt flavor that is well balanced with the fruitiness of a Weizen- sweet but not sickly sweet - only slightly weak.

Tucher products have not overwhelmed me in general. This was no exception. +++ Sampled from a 16 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium brown color with a huge creamy tan head that lingered for a great deal of time and produce a nice amount of lacing. The aroma was entirely sour wheat. The flavor was sour wheat and mild citrus. The beer turned a tad bitter towards the finish and ended with a nice malt element that really lingered on the palate. A surprisingly nice beer for them.

[At Fete de la Biere 2004, Lausanne] A clear pale yellow beer with a fine dense white head. THe aroma is sweet with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast and caramel. The carbonization prickles the tongue.
