Aroma has soy sauce, some licorice and grainy tones. Flavour has some licorice, roasted malts and soy sauce. Also some strong alcohol tones on some sips. Feels rather thin, straightforward and light for an IS.

Bottle at home, thanks to Wingmanwillis for hoiking this one back, 27/05/14. Murky orange amber with a well appointed off white covering that settles in for the night. Nose is dank hop tones, bitter citrics, grapefruit, bitter orange, light mineral tones, bitter tropicals. Taste comprises bitter orange marmalade - kind of on the turn, dank hoppage, sticky pine, caramel malt, tarte apricot, bitter grapefruit, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. This one grew on me, I wasn’t too taken at first but it proved to a be a half decent dank tropicana fuelled DIPA but a good few notches short of a great.

(Bottle) Hazy golden with good white head. Crisp aroma of grapefruit and lemon with a hint of pine. Light body, well carbonated. Light refreshing flavour, plenty of citrus notes up front and persisting. Some grainy, bready flavours and a bit of peppery bitterness in finish. Not great, but very quaffable.
