Hazy golden color, tropical fruit and caramel in nose. Tropical fruits dominate the mouth, but a solid malt backbone. Refreshing tropical fruit finish. Fairly enjoyable for the style. Another winner from this great brewery.

Looks and initally smells like brandy. No head and a much paler color than I used to for a Grand Cru. Nevertheless, caramel and oranges add to the aromatic excitment. Rich, tangy mouth that continues the brandy theme and is quit warming. Well balanced. Syrupy without being cloying. Very enjoyable though fairly straight forward.

Straight forward, but solid IIPA with caramel malt providing an solid backbone and oranges and apples coming in for the hops. The body is fairly heavy and I think the ABV could be driven up even further without lossing much character. Moderately bitter finish. Nothing over the top, but very enjoyable.
