Pours amber with a small fading head.Nose shows pineapple, lychee, orange, peach, nectarine. Crazy sweet fruity goodness.Similar fruit as flavours but a little more restrained. Some light sweet malt with a cookie dough character.Body feels quite watery unfortunately.

Pours black with a large light tan head.Nose shows heavy chocolate and light roasted malt with cocoa notes dominating. Tempting.More roasted malt and chocolate as flavours with some faint lactose sweetness. Heaps of chocolate malt nutty notes.Could use a bit more carbonation.

Bottle. Very dark brown with a light tan head that fades to a coat. Fudgey aroma of spiced (vanilla, cardamon) chocolate, coffee. Wants to be silky, but carbonation is a little too high. Sweetish with a milky caramel richness that puts the mocha and vanilla flavours further back than expected. Moderate lightly spicy bitterness cleans things up at the end.

Bottled at Mrs Parmas, Melbourne, Victoria. Cloudy amber, rich head. Caramelly nose with minerals and spice. Mid sweet with light to medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Some grapefruit and crystal malt. Mild but growing bitterness.

Pours dark amber with a fading head.Super hoppy aroma, lots of peach, orange blossom, lemon, nectarine and confectionery. Also some soft biscuity malt.Toasty malt as a flavour, along with some of the aforementioned fruit. A bit grassy.Too much carbonation.

From a 330ml bottle on 15/2/2013. Pours an opaque dark golden with a biggish off white head. Has a quite a pleasant fruity nose, with some stone fruit and melon present. Flavour wise, the fruit again dominates, with apricot particularly prominent. There’s also a touch of caramel malt and some yeasty notes. Finishes off with a relatively firm bitterness. The carbonation is lively but not over the top. A very solid pale, though more English than American in style imo.

Bottle, 9C. Clear amber with an inch of white head that fades to a coat. Aroma of grapefruit, wet pine needles, pepper, caramel. Light bodied. Taste is moderately sweet with caramel, some berries, pine and citrus, firm bitterness. Hop aromatics linger. Good stuff. [3.5] A bit more than moderately sweet, but not a problem if cold. Still think this an amber ale, FWIW.
