Can. Amber with a coat of white head that's soon less. 3- Aroma of light dough, candi sugar, heaps of coriander, white pepper. Moderately sweet with hay, dough, light bread and candi sugar. Lots of coriander but otherwise a calm drying finish. Pretty good.

Can. Amber with a good cm of white head. Aroma of crackers, spices, hints of citrus. Breadier upon a taste with spicy rye, some funk and some apricot before a spicy bitter finish that's not quite as dry as suggested by the aroma.

Sessionable yet moreish is a very weird sentence. Can. Deep clear amber with a pale beige head. Aroma of dried more than stewed fruit, singed toffee, bread, spices. Dryish and fruity. Tastes as it smells with a snappy enough finish. Has a fair bit of the complexity of the quad.

Can. 2022 version. Golden amber. Almost clear with a good cm of dense white head that never quite disappears. 3+ Aroma of spiced dough, banana lollies, some tropical bubblegum. Full bodied with medium high carbonation. Rich bread dough/ candied fruit before a dry and fairly punchily spicy bitter finish. No overt alcohol but you can feel it. Good.

As Quad - 2022 version is 10% ABV. Brown with a beige coat that doesn't last. Aroma of dried and stewed fruit - raisin, fig - brown sugary dough, spices, some overt alcohol. More vinous than expected with oaked red wine providing a little acidity to cut the sweetness. Still lots of dried fruit. Rich but very drinkable with moderate spiced bitterness. Very good; not an attempt to clone anything else.

Can. Into a La Chouffe tulip, obviously. Cloudy orange with a white head. Spiced dough aroma with peach, banana lollies. Moderately sweet, quite yeasty with a somewhat murky palate before firm bitterness, cloves and a little alcohol tie things together at the end. OK, lacks a little definition.

Can. Deep amber with a fat, dense off white coat that lasts really well. Aroma of sweet buns, brown sugar, golden raisins, wild figs, mace. Barely medium bodied, soft carbonation. Some sweet malt presence but understandably lacks grunt. Mostly biscuit, dough and some grapes. Dryish finish with spices and a decent whack of bitterness. [br][br]Hugely promising.
