Draught @Brewdog Helsinki. Poured golden color with a thick white head. Fresh hoppy aroma, tropical fruits, pineapples, citrus. Some mild spiciness. Flavor has light sweetness, fruits, citrus, spices. Bitter, dry finish. Refreshing, good.

On tap at the Well & Bucket, London. Pours dark orange with off-white head. Fruit, citrus, sweetish malty. Light to moderate bitterness. Ok, but I’d prefer more bitterness.

Draught@HBF2016. Deep ambery brown colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is liquorice, some sweet dark malts, toffee and mild fruity notes. Mild toasted notes as well. Flavour is a bit ashy, some ripe fruits, citrus and mild toffeeish notes. OK, but a bit too ashy/roasted for my taste.

Bottle (shared by fatphil, thanks). Pours yellow with white head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is grassy, sour, apricot. Flavor is sweet, slightly sour, apricot, grass, citrus. Body is watery. Overall: drinkable.

Oranje kleurig bier met stevig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en krachtig, licht fruitig ananas, zwarte thee en abrikoos. Erg goed.

Tap@ HBF 2016. Brown color, thin white head. Aroma has citrus, hops, roastedness. Really good actually. typical Black IPA, with nice roasty, mild ashy notes as well.

Helder lichtgeel levendig bier met schuim. Smaak is licht fris zuur en licht bitter hoppig. Het zure heb ik niet kunnen ontdekken, het licht droge wel. Verder gewoon goed bier.

(Keg at HBF2016) The beer poured clear and nearly black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had pine, resin and mildly burnt malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, piny and resiny hops, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A nicely done hoppy and burnt brew, the hops were dominating as they should be.
