Can. Gold with a good cm of white head that lasts OK. Shyish aroma of hay and light dough with oranges and some passionfruit. Getting towards thin. Lean crackery malt with mildly funky spices, citrus and a decent snappy bitter end. Refreshing.

Can. Deep amber with a small beige head. Aroma of bread, toffee, some stone fruit & spices. Malty and quite rich with proper stinging bitterness that gradually makes its presence felt. Satisfying drop.

Can. Copper amber with an off white head. 3+ Aroma is biscuity with some caught toffee, spices and nuts. 7+ So it tastes. Malty but light on the palate - dryish with a little grassy and spicy bitterness at the end. Good, complex and well balanced.

Can. The amber end of gold with a white head that doesn't last. Aroma of light dough, hints of stone fruit, misty lemon and spices. A bit maltier than guessed but still very quaffable with a little yeasty intrigue - bubblegum, stone fruit, hints of funk - before a moderately bitter & spicy finish which has some phenols as well as esters. I do like that it's only a slight twist.

Not a lot going on. The aromas is dominated by overripe mandarin and a little mango. mandarin and bittering hops in the mouth. Not great.

Can. Very pale gold with a good inch of white foam. Lean crackery aroma with gentle floral and spice notes. But the Saaz is punchier upon a swig - perhaps because it's drier than guessed - and it's quite bitter with a burst of pepper at the end. But the malt doesn't do too much. Clean and refreshing.

Can. Pale gold with a white head. Aroma of green pine needles, melon, passionfruit, black pepper. Very briefly rich crackery malt then lots of hops that are a lot more piney, earthy and spicy than their usual showing. Dry and quite bitter at the end with spices and barely ripe tropical fruit as well as a volatile pine note. Really good and interestingly, nothing like a NZ pils. The Australia lager rinascimento rolls on.
