On tap at the tasting room. Pours with a deep brown, near black hued body with a lasting tan head. Moderate lace. Aromas are of oranges, low phenol, estery, vanilla, medium to low roast, chocolate, leathery and peppery. Lightly grassy. Flavors show some mild roast, earthy and nutty, peppery phenols, bone dry (which is nice). Nutty, floral, peppery, light citrus zest, medium phenol and ester in the finish. Lively bubbles, dry and clean.

On tap at the tasting room. Pours with a crystal clear golden-peach hued body with a lasting, just off-white head. Good lace. Aromas are spicy, hoppy, marmalade, stone fruit and a bit grassy. Some toasted malt notes, light peppery phenols, medium esters. Flavors are grassy, caramel, toasty malt notes, estery, medium herbal. Low citrus and a touch grassy. Just a little bit too sweet and full for what I was expecting. Lightly sweet malt character, light minerals, medium bitterness. Lively bubbles, dry and relatively crisp.

On tap at the brewery. Pours with a dark, deep brown hued body with a large tan head that lasts. Aromas are malty, brown sugar, lightly spicy hop character, low phenol but somewhat stronger esters, cereal grain. Light chocolate. Smells clean and dry. Flavors are well attenuated, dry, malty, dark fruits. Bitterness feels a touch too strong (given how dry it is), raisins, pitted fruit. Mild alcohol. Medium bubbles, fuller bodied with a dry finish.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a lightly hazed, deeper golden hued body with a bit of pink. Lasting large white head (when on tap, less so from the growler I took home). Aromas are spicy, phenolic, herbal, citrusy, rose water, tart and floral. Medium malt character. Flavors are dry and tart with citrus, citrus zest, hibiscus, mild bready malt, medium peppery phenols, and lasting lemon. Complex. Lively bubbles, somewhat well hidden alcohol. Dry finish with a bit of a tartness. Very tasty.
