(Can) Pours hazy mid brown with small tan head. Pleasant aroma of toffee malt and nuts. Medium body with good carbonation. Good taste. There’s rich toffee malt, nuts and plenty of hoppy bitterness in the finish. Very drinkable.

(Can) Pours clear golden with big loose white head. Subtle aroma with grain and citrus. Light body with bright carbonation. Taste is ok, if a bit watery. There’s some light biscuity malt and then some peppery hoppy bitterness. Easy drinking but unexciting.

(Can) Pours clear golden with tiny white head. Modest grainy cereal aroma. Light body well carbonated. Uninteresting and somewhat unpleasant taste. Corn dominates with some tartness and some herb hints. Not impressed.

(On tap) Hazy amber with no head. Lovely aroma. Fruity with yogurt and woody hints. Medium body, smooth with modest fine carbonation. Great taste. Nicely sour with some good complexity. There’s apricots, some lactic / yoghurt notes and some oak hints. Very nice.

Tap at the brewery, Melbourne. First brew in OZ for 12 years. Light hopped aroma. Lagerlike look. Has good body in terms of bitterness for the abv. Some amateur tastes there but easy going PA.

Wait, are they cookers? Can. Cloudy amber with a inch of dense ecru head. Floral and citrus aroma with spices and tropical underpinnings. Barely medium bodied with light bread and grilled grapefruit. Sweeter tropical fruit before some resin and a decisive bitter finish. Still like the balance of an IPA around this. Good.

Tap at Westside. In the circumstances it would be rude not to try these collaboration beers. Cloudy orange with a dense white head that lasts a while. Aroma of oranges, dough, spices. A fair bit of body. Bitter and a little herbal at the end. Pretty good.
